Jon Stewart’s flabbergasted act is wearing thin. He has enabled republicans more than he’s held them accountable. The only he time he sticks his neck out politically, is when someone fucks over vets, cops, or first responders. But when it’s everyone else, the best he can do is shrug and say something smug.
I’m sure his anger is genuine. But I have always found him insincere as a comedian. He’s good at saying the kinds of things people want to hear, and not what they need to hear.

What annoys me are people like Stewart, who constantly give the GOP the benefit of the doubt. Eventually he’ll find an excuse to forgive the unforgivable or find a way to spread the blame to include Democrats.
